great anatomy on the hands and arms...nice wrinkles in the fabric, good shading...very realistic overall. Bravo! The tie seems a bit comatose, so ya might want to add just a small wrinkle or two to give it some life. I noticed how you managed to create a difference of thickness between different materials in his clothing, and that's really hard to do, so I applaud you for that. ^_^
Now THAT's what I call one classy-ass Medic. Well done drawing the tricky violin posture- being a violinist myself, I KNOW when a violin posture drawing looks wrong (which is understandably common- it's hard to do and draw). Also, loving his outfit. The colors are toned down and add to the refined atmosphere.
Like I mentioned before, it was excellent to see you take the prompt. The violin still seems curved upwards as though the instrument has suffered some sort of bending pressure, but the shape of the violin itself is quite handsome, and looks about right considering the stylization. Looking at the stool now, though, his butt seems like it's lifted, slightly, or like his weight isn't actually resting on it? It's barely perceptible, but if you raised the seat up a bit it would probably look more natural. Rest of the posture is quite natural, though, and fetching as well. Again, I realize I already briefed you, but the shoulders have excellent width and the body seems to have a nice, solid thickness to it. The folds of his clothing seem to be following the correct directions and the general shading and tone of the picture is lovely. Apologies for taking forever to get to this pic outside of the chan, but I have not been so active on dA lately. And thanks again for taking that prompt. Overall it turned out quite lovely.
